- A: Brutus Bone Broth contains 0.1% sodium. In order to make our broth shelf stable we need to add sea salt. We use the finest, trace amount of sea salt in Brutus Bone Broth to ensure the proper pH is achieved to keep our product safe for consumption. Furthermore, like humans, dogs need some sodium. Generally speaking, most veterinarians use the following categories when discussing low-sodium diets: - Dogs with no sodium restrictions require food with at least 0.5% sodium content (>100mg sodium/100kCal) - Dogs who require mild sodium restriction should be offered foods with between 0.35% and 0.5% sodium content (80 to 100mg/100kCal) - Dogs who require moderate sodium restriction should only receive foods with between 0.1% and 0.35% sodium content (50 to 80mg/100kCal) - Dogs who require severe sodium restriction should be offered food with less than 0.1% sodium content (<50mg/100kCal)2 months agoHelpful?

I recently received a sample of Brutus Chicken Bone Broth and gave it to my chocolate lab mixed with his kibble. To say he loved it is an understatement. He pushed his “empty” bowl around for a few minutes continuing to lick the bottom as if more would magically appear. He’s a lucky dog as I immediately placed an order so more is in his near future😊

My senior cat

I came home today and my 18yr old cat was on the table! I was amazed. She has not been able to get up there for I don't even know how long. I've been giving her your broth for a few months now, beef and chicken and look at her! Thank you!

Gabriel and Theodore are very impressed with the Chicken Bone Broth and look forward to their daily meals. Theodore is 14 and has become quite a picky eater so we are all very grateful that the Bone Broth is helping him finish his meals!!
