Q: can this be used to treat needle cast on my blue spruce
2 days agoQ: Is this effective to treat pear tree fire blight?
5 days ago- A: Howdy neighbor! Bonide Captain Jack's Copper Fungicide is highly effective as a preventative shield against pear tree fire blight, but it cannot cure an active infection once the branches have already turned black. Because fire blight is a destructive bacterial disease rather than a fungus, copper works by killing the bacteria on the bark and blossoms before it can enter the tree. For the best results and to protect your tree from leaf damage, apply this spray during the late winter dormant season or early spring just as the buds begin to swell.3 days agoHelpful?
