Santa Cruz Round Wood-Burning Fire Pit is constructed from steel, which provides durability while keeping the unit lightweight and portable. Because it is made from steel sheet rather than cast iron or heavy plate steel, the metal is thinner than premium heavy-duty fire pits, but this design allows it to remain portable at about 26 lbs and function properly for standard backyard fires. While it is sturdy for normal residential use, it is not thick solid metal like high-end permanent fire bowls. Could Be Great, If Packaging Prevented Damage

The actual design and appearance is very nice. However the packaging is poorly thought out and almost guarantees the item to have some sort of damage to either the bowl or especially the very fragile lid. In my case it was the lid, the screen in two of the 4 sections is completed bent inwards. Overall, it COULD be an awesome product, but unfortunately due to the poor packaging design and/or lack of quality control, it isn't.
No, I do not recommend this product.
