- A: Hello, Always use this appliance on a hard, level, non-combustible surface such as concrete, rock, or stone. Do not use it on wooden decks, or combustible deck of any sort, grass, leaves, asphalt, or blacktop. The bottom of this fire bowl does get very hot. Decent fire bowl

Product is definitely brown, not beige. Has several blemishes in the concrete from removing from the box. I expect it will show wear and tear very quickly. The paint job is poor quality. Fire is hot, good size, easy to use.
