    New favorite!

I typically use lump hardwood and purchased this product by accident because it was the only "100% hardwood" that this particular store carried. I've now used it two nights in a row and I will be purchasing this product whenever I come across it in our local grocer. The fire burns long after all the logs have turned grey and you'll learn that you do not necessarily need to use as much as you may normally be used to with other brands! My next attempt will be a long smoke with some mesquite mixed in (Native south Texan now living in OKC)

Let me say a few things about this brand. Consistency is key, and they are SPOT ON! We use our Hogs Logs as a base for our smoker, and they will hold an even temp for about 12 hours if needed. They are great quality, and such a bang for your buck! Love the cylindrical shape, it really keeps everything nice and even. 5 stars! Highly recommend!

    Expectations Exceeded...!

Purchased this product for the first time and in the first usage I was amazed at the level of heat generated by utilizing a fraction of what I would normally utilize with regards to briquettes, as well as the duration and consistency of the heat. Quality product that performs as advertised and moving forward, I will definitely continue to utilize Blues Hog Charcoal Hog Logs!

Potentially the worst tasting charcoal I've ever used. Tastes like an ash tray. Absolutely horrible. Ruined two meals
