SENTINEL SIMPLY LITE is formulated for mature horses requiring a lower calorie diet or a reduced grain feeding rate such as easy-keepers, ponies and miniature horses. Sentinel Simply Lite may also be fed to horses when a low starch and sugar diet is recommended for maintenance of digestive and metabolic health and additional calories are not needed to maintain good body condition - consult with an equine nutritionist for a recommended diet. The suggested feeding program is intended solely as a guide. Adjust the feeding of Sentinel Simply Lite according to individual needs and condition of the horse. The variable of management, environment, and breed may dictate changes in the horse's dietary requirements. Provide good-quality hay or pasture, free-choice salt and plenty of fresh water. Approximate feed weight to volume: 0.75 lb = 1 quart.

We recommend in most cases, you slowly transition your animal when changing to a Kent product or even between Kent products. This allows the animal's digestive tract to properly adjust to the feed. To help with the transition, we recommend slowly mixing the new Kent product in with your current feed and then gradually increase over the course of one-two week to 100% of the new Kent product.
