My cat refused it. I do know how to convert a cat. She refused her original food with any amount I’d this mixed it.

We purchased this product because our Smudge was documented gluten intolerant and was in need of a dry food for beginning stage of kidney disease. We were able to control his disease for 14 months. With only the last 2 weeks did he suddenly lose the battle. Thank you so much to you folks for developing these recipes Smudge was shy of his 18th birthday by a month and a half when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He was talkative.. calling me mamm, my son,Tim, mim. his freeze dried minnows were mimsmows. The dry and wet food wonderful.

My 16 yr old male cat was just diagnosed with very early stage kidney disease & my vet recommended a different brand Rx food to support kidney health... no thanks. My cats have eaten different kinds of Blue Buffalo dry & canned food since 2008 so this was an easy choice. Like all Blue Buffalo foods, it's made with real deboned meat, chicken in this case, grain free & NO corn/wheat/soy. From day 1, my cat seems to like it, started eating & has never refused it. He's only been on it about 1 week, so I won't know for a while how this affects his kidneys but I know it's formulated with all the right ingredients in the right levels to manage the disease. I plan to order the same K+M food in canned form too because my cats get wet food daily which helps their' kidneys stay healthy.
