Free assembly offered, but not done

Bought today because of the “free assembly and pick up at store”. Bought it, went to the store and was given a damaged box and the manager said, “well I heard it is not too hard to put together. That was the point of “free assembly”, I didn’t want to assemble it. No thanks. They didn’t offer me any options. Take it or leave it? I left it…….

I was so excited to use my product and then I saw that one side of the back parts where you put the nail in was to manufactured currently and my husband had to somehow fix it but a new item should not have that problem, I am a little bummed out
