BioLogic 5 lb. Perfect Pond Plus Fertilizer Bag, with a scientifically developed micronutrient package, has been developed by the pros at the American Sport Fish Hatchery. This granular fertilizer is simply broadcast at a base rate of 5 lb. per acre and is much easier than messy, heavy liquids. Good Product not available via Tractor Supply

The pond fertilizer is great, but the problem is that Tractor Supply keeps advertising it on their website but they don't carry it and you can't order it via Tractor Supply. I've tried for several months to see if I can order it on the Tractor Supply app or website, but it's never available. That being the case, Tractor Supply should either remove it from their advertisement or procure some for sale.

Pond Perfect plus is a simple easy to use product that will help you start and maintain an algae bloom. I have used it during the past 2 years and it is starting to pay off with the noticeable growth and survival rates of young fish.

I found this product after searching online for an appropriate pond fertilizer. I have a new 2.5 acre pond with a very clean well water supply. My water clarity was over 30” and so I applied aqua shade pond dye at 50% of the recommended amount and the fertilizer at 50% the recommended amount. This has resulted in a natural looking light green hue to the water which is teaming with phytoplankton/algae with 18” clarity. The plankton/algae bloom has come with an increase in oxygenation from 9-10 ppm to 11-12 ppm. The improved oxygenation may be a result of warming temps as well. The product is about the size and weight of a bag of sugar and seems to dissolve completely as soon as it hits the water.

Put the pond in a nice algae bloom. Once the pond reaches the right temperature you love the results if you care about your fish.
