My husband is thrilled to have these pants. He wore them hunting when growing up and remembered how warm they were even if wet. They are also quiet when moving around. He's so happy to finally have another pair and plans to use them this winter while out cutting wood and doing outside chores on cold days. In his opinion there's nothing better.

I expected a darker green, like a forest green, but these are more green. If you wear these to the grocery store people will look and say 'Oh, there's a guy with green pants on.' If you're out in the woods walking around nobody will say anything and these pants are fine for that. Thick wool, a little long on the inseam or maybe I'm suppose to wear them high on my waist like Jackie Gleason. Maybe the color is a Canadian thing.

These wool pants are what I hoped for...well made, warm, rugged. They came larger than expected. I chose 31" length and they are closer to 32". L.L. Bean had similar pair for $50 more and were out of stock. Feel better about this purchase.
