I purchased this tank in July of 2018 and installed on a flatbed truck. It has worked great with afew modification on the lids. The latchs started to rip the thin metal on both lids within a year. I pop-rivited thicker metal to the lids and fixed the problem. However, this month I noticed a loud thud evertime I turn and I can feel the weight of the fuel moving as I turn. The baffle has come loose inside the tank. In 2018 they had a limited lifetime warranty. Tractor supply says that no longer applys, and the new ones only have a three year warranty. I guess I will just use it until It causes an accident then let an attorney sort it out.

I bought this toolbox fuel tank combo. Installed it. Hooked up pump. Filled with diesel and while I was filling the t was draining on ground. All the while I was starring at the made date of 11-28-24 thinking what junk

“Better Built” is hilarious. Terrible quality product. Leaked brand new, lid latches quit after a couple months, and the material the latches are welded to are so thin it rips like a pop can.

Leaks after one week (top right). TS directed me to the Better Built complaint # and they were awesome and quick to replace it. Problem is, the second one leaked worse than the first one (bottom) and lost about half our diesel before we knew it was happening. I do not want a third.
