Tapeworm Dewormer Tablets for Cats to help remove common species of tapeworms. Formulated with 23 mg praziquantel, this dewormer works quickly and is easy to administer. It's effective against 2 species (Taenia taeniaeformis and Dipylidium caninum) in cats and kittens over the age of 6 weeks. There are 3 tablets included per package.How it Works

The liver absorbs and metabolizes praziquantel, and it is excreted through the bile. When it enters the digestive tract, the cytocidal action of the drug causes tapeworms to lose their ability to resist host digestion. Because of this, whole tapeworms can rarely pass completely through the digestive system of a host. Typically, tapeworms are mostly digested, and only pieces of the worms can be found in feces following praziquantel treatment.

I received this product from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This Tapeworm Dewormer arrived Just in time! I recently started fostering a kitty who happened to have worms. It wasn’t easy getting her to take the medicine, but I managed it, and within days she was looking better and eating more and actually putting on weight.

This is a really good tablet to give the cats to get the tapeworm removed. There are only three tablets that are needed, and the instructions are pretty easy. The cat just seems little bit lethargic after giving the medicine but it warns out. This is a great over-the-counter med for anyone to get rid of tapeworms. Storage is easy as is a very small tiny bottle. The cat that doesn’t give trouble swallowing then that works otherwise add it to their food.
