- A: If you want to be able to take it apart, the best thing to do would be to tighten the bolts after each use. If you're not going to take it apart, a small weld or glue might be a more permanent solution.3 years agoHelpful?

8-Disc Harrow

This harrow does the job. It is quite narrow so takes many tracks across the ground but eventually breaks up the surface soil. It can develop quite a clog between the center two discs. The setup has a cleaning blade, but when trying to disc under some heavy grass with strong roots, I still got a clog. I learned that periodically backing up would help clear it, so it was less of a problem but something a buyer should know.

Terrible quality and horrible workmanship. The height adjustment holes are 3/8in off from one side to the other so its impossible to get the pin through due to the severe offset.

Bought plow to plant rye seed in a pasture. Works great and adjusting the depth of the discs was no problem> Very easy to install and use.
