Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Disc Bought this about a month ago and am very happy with the disc. Just needed to run it once over my garden areas and the soil was turn over very nice. Started to run over a new area in the field and it takes multiples time to break up the grass and dirt. I add some cinder blocks to the disc to increase weight and downward force. I have a JD 2032R tractor which pulls the disc with no problem. I was told by TSC that I should buy the smaller disc because my tractor could not handle this disc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Grease It is my experience on moveable parts on farm equipment, they should be grease able bearings. Sealed bearings don't hold up and you are forever changing them. I have any extra time to be working on equipment that was not manufactured correctly. I looked at them and like the way they are built for my use, but can not purchase them because they can not be greased unless I modify them so I can grease the bearings. I can not recommend them unless the bearing are grease able.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from garbage I bought this 2 years ago and only use it on 1 acre of sandy loam and also store inside. bearings on 2 gangs are already freezing up and no where to grease.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good to Go so Far Purchased from my local TSC yesterday and put it to use that afternoon for about 5 hours. I have a JD 3005 (27 HP) and it pulled it with no problem. I have sandy loam soil with corn stubble from last season and it chopped it nice after a second pass perpendicular to initial pass. I didn't add any extra weight to the disc as I was looking to just penetrate the top 2" to seed. Overall good product, although I am still concerned about the sealed versus greased bearings. Only time will tell on that debate.
