Belt snapped in half after 2nd use. Of course it's past the 30 day warranty. I was doing a final cut before grass died.

Bad Boy 60" cut deck needed a new belt, I had purchased a belt tension gauge and when I put it on my Bad Boy, it registered about 25 and it should have been 40. I tried tightening the tension spring for the idler pulley, but it didn't move the needle much so I opted for a new replacement. Taking off the old belt was easy and so was installing the new one. I compared the 2 belts before I put it on the old on was considerably stretched due to use. With the new belt installed and a set of new Hi Rise blades, she cuts really well and the vibration from the belts is gone. I will advise anyone who reads this that this is a new mower for me so I also checked the deck height using the 2X4 measuring method the prescribe and found that the deck was actually not level and needed to be reset. This was because one of the deck hanger bolts had become loose at some point and this was causing me mow my lawn with some ridges in the finished product because of the deck misalignment. I am now monitoring that bolts every time I mow and the yard loves it and so do I. BTY the deck is supposed to be lower in the front and higher in the back 1/4" so not only do you need 2 - 3' 2X4's for check my deck alignment but I also need a set of 1/4" thick washers to put under the back edge of the deck on top of the 2X4's to get the proper rise in the rear specified in the owners manual.

Good price, need to stock more parts for bad boy mowers. Like pulleys, keys, PTO cables. Not enough dealer’s around could be good sellers.
