[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am currently assigned to a construction site as the site medic, so my equipment needs to be durable in all kinds of conditions & weather and be comfortable to wear, including for long periods of time, over rough terrain or climbing/descending stairs/ladders. This bag meets these requirements. It adjusts easily to compensate for wear over jackets, rain gear, or heavier winer clothing. The zipper pulls make maninupualtion with exam or winter gloves. And it is spacious. The photo shows some of the items I carry in it, and it still has room. Others that I work with have made similar comments about it. This bag is perfectly fuctionable right out of the box.ProsSpacious ComfortableDurableDid I mention comfortable?Improvements to make it even betterPocket/Pouch for use with hydration bladder.2 pile strips of velcro for attachment of name tape(s)Finally, since I am on a construction site, maybe some more reflective trim. Some more MOLLE attachment points/loops.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I provide physician coverage for a high acuity 20 bed ICU. As one of the covering physicians, we provide floor coverage for the entire hospital for code blues and rapid responses. We were looking for a bag that would allow us to bring critical resuscitative equipment to the bedside in an organized, modular fashion. Ergodyne’s blue responder backpack fit the bill perfectly. We had struggled with being able to locate supplies in an expeditious manner while running a complicated resuscitation, sometimes in units not equipped for such activities (CT scan, the cafeteria, on the floor in a hallway, etc). We are able to keep all of our emergent supplies organized, including IV supplies, the IO, back up airway adjuncts as well as our standard rapid response paperwork which is required on every response.I received this bag from Ergodyne to test in August of 2017. I wanted to put it through some use prior to commenting on its usefulness and durability. After almost four months of use, I can say that Ergodyne makes a fine product. It has held up well, is durable, and has some little conveniences like a lockable zipper so the bag can be checked and locked, and its readiness is able to be determined by glancing at the locked seal. We usually deploy the rapid response team one to two times daily, and the physicians and nurses that have used the bag have commented on what a dramatic improvement it is over our prior setup.
