The Tenax Deer Fence Select is a lighter version of the Deer Fence, 80 g/m2, for areas with moderate deer problems. Tenax deer fences can be used as a barrier to control deer around yards or gardens. It's virtually invisible and blends into the natural landscape. This deer proof fence is a cost-effective solution to protect your real estate from these creatures. Thanks to a unique stretching process in both directions, this deer fence netting is incredibly strong and resistant, but also light and flexible at the same time. It is UV treated, so it keeps its color and features over time.

Q: How many poles per 100 ft of fence?
3 years ago- A: We recommend 1 post every 10 to 15 ft. For 100' fence you would need 7 to 10 posts-LynnAnonymous3 years agoHelpful?
Q: Do you sell gates or what are we supposed to use to go in and out?
3 years ago- A: You can create a gate at one end of your enclosure or purchase a pre-made gate. Tenax does not sell gates. -LynnAnonymous3 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can morning glory or cucumbers be grown up this fencing?
4 years ago- A: Tenax Deer fence can support vining plants. You can also consider our Hortonova Trellis Net.-LynnAnonymous4 years agoHelpful?
Q: A previous question asked about the required size of fence posts, and the answer was: "For 7.5' Fence we recommend 8.5' tall posts". Do you sell 8.5' posts, and if not, WHERE do I find them?
4 years ago- A: We do not sell the 8.5' fence post.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can this be chewed through by a Racoon or Opossum?
4 years ago- A: Deer Fence Select is 100% plastic and may be breached by animals prone to chew. If you have concerns about animals chewing through the fence, we recommend reinforcing the bottom of the fence with a metal/wire chew guard mesh.-LynnAnonymous4 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can this be used as a pet barrier?
7 years ago- A: Yes. Tenax has a line of Pet fence which is the same material as the deer fence but shorter heights: 4', 5', and 6'.-LynnAnonymous7 years agoHelpful?
Q: What size fence posts would I need for this? I live on a very windy hill, so would I have to drive the stakes further down for better hold? Should I place them closer than 15' because of the wind?
7 years ago- A: For 7.5' Fence we recommend 8.5' tall posts so that you can drive 1 foot into the ground. 1 post every 15' is typically sufficient however, you can consider a post every 10' for extra stability considering the windy conditions.-LynnAnonymous7 years agoHelpful?
Q: 1: Under specifications it says the fencing needs posts every 15-20' which I understand, but what is "picket fencing" every 4 feet" ? 2: Once installed can a leave this deer fencing up for a few years or how long should it last once installed?
7 years ago- A: Picketing is a term that is typically associated with wooden fencing. Tenax select deer fence can be left up year after year. In some cases, this fence has been known to last 10-15 years. Some patching/repair may be required during the life of the fence.-LynnAnonymous7 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can at be stretched tight so the appearance looks neat? How far apart fence poles?
7 years ago- A: Use 1 post every 15-20'. You can run a monofilament wire across the top of the fence to keep it taut.-LynnAnonymous7 years agoHelpful?
