Thanks to a unique stretching process in both directions, this deer fence netting is incredibly strong and resistant, but also light and flexible at the same time. Q: Can this be chewed through by a Racoon or Opossum?

Q: What size fence posts would I need for this? I live on a very windy hill, so would I have to drive the stakes further down for better hold? Should I place them closer than 15' because of the wind?

1 Answer
  • A: For 7.5' Fence we recommend 8.5' tall posts so that you can drive 1 foot into the ground. 1 post every 15' is typically sufficient however, you can consider a post every 10' for extra stability considering the windy conditions.-Lynn

Q: 1: Under specifications it says the fencing needs posts every 15-20' which I understand, but what is "picket fencing" every 4 feet" ? 2: Once installed can a leave this deer fencing up for a few years or how long should it last once installed?

1 Answer
  • A: Picketing is a term that is typically associated with wooden fencing. Tenax select deer fence can be left up year after year. In some cases, this fence has been known to last 10-15 years. Some patching/repair may be required during the life of the fence.-Lynn

Easy to Handle, Stops deer completely

Installed a few weeks ago over 150' and have eliminated our deer problem. The black color is VERY difficult for humans to see from a distance. I have video cams pointed at the fence and I can verify the deer actually get turned away!

Disappointed

I think it will get the job done of keeping the deer out. But it’s way to expensive for the quality of netting. I thought it would be some thicker, it’s very flimsy.

Deer fencing

Good heavy quality. The grids are large enough to keep the wind from blowing it down like it does with bird netting.

Keeps Deers Out!

Needed a strong, tall fence to keep deer from our garden. This fence was light enough that I could install it myself and strong enough that deers can’t break through.

Very sturdy fence

We put this around our garden to keep the deer out. We already had 4 ft electric fence, but the deer laughed at that. We've hung this on 10 ft pvc 1/2 in set on rebar stakes. The fence is very heavy gauge and I think it will last.

Yes, I recommend this product.
