The Agri-Fab 130 lb. Push Broadcast Spreader is ideal for all-season use as a fertilizer spreader in the summer or an ice melt spreader in the winter. This push spreader offers a wide 10 - 12 ft. spread width to help you finish your spreading tasks quicker. An easy-to-read adjustable flow stop ensures the push spreader puts out only as much spread as you request for minimal spread waste and double coverage. The 130 lb. hopper capacity accommodates big yards.

- A: Dear Kathleen L - Salt is not recommended in Agri-Fab spreaders as salt retains moisture causing the spreader gears to lock up. If you have a way to keep the sand completely dry before and during distribution you can use a broadcast spreader. Ice melt and salt are the recommended winter spreader media. Whenever salt is used the spreader must be thoroughly cleaned after each use. The corrosive qualities of salt cause premature wear on the gears. Disappointed but has potential

Considering the price of the spreader, it should be built really well. However, after I assembled it, the plastic housing was rubbing on the gears. Had to remove the housing and custom grind both sides of the housing to prevent the gears from rubbing. The axle may be bent slightly as the gears don't fit as well as they should. After my custom tinkering, it seems to do its job well and I'm hoping it lasts 20+ years.

I bought this pull behind seeder a month ago, I have had nothing but trouble with it, you have to have it wide open for it to do anything, trust me, it’ll be quicker to broadcast than waste time on this 250 piece

Best push spreader

This is everything I wanted for a push spreader. It holds enough for me to do the entire yard in 1 fill. With the pneumatic tires, it is easy to push and maneuver when loaded. Easy clean up when you’re done, just spray it out.
