Agri-Fab 50 lb. Capacity Push Spreader

Add Agri Fab to the list of companies to avoid. This spreader is low quality, even by today's standards of terrible quality. The stand isn't much thicker than a wire coat hanger, the handle as thick as my pinky, the dummy wheel not connected to the gearbox wobbles and it only throws 3 to 4 ft wide. This model will be lots of work with my acre yard. I have no faith the cheap gearbox will survive the extra laps needed if it doesn't collapse from hitting a mole hill first. I fully expect it to break on the 4th use, which will be 3 years out of warranty. From here on out i will buy the cheapest model i can find and consider it disposable. I refuse to spend well over $100 on a better model that is also going to break on the 4th use. This model was supposedly a couple steps up from the cheapest ones.

Lightweight, easy to attach handle. Love sliding shield underneath to control either 90-degree or 180-degree spread (great along fences and flowerbeds). Solid wheels, so don't have to worry about flat tires. Round hopper bin does better job of funneling fertilizer into center feeder hole than those oblong spreader bins like Scotts. Also like the feeder setting control better than on Scotts.

This is the best spreader I have ever owned. I was getting tired of buying a plastic Scott’s spreader every year or two. What really impressed me is the manufacturer reaches out on every negative review with a phone number to call

It works. But is insanely overpriced given the construction. Hopefully it’ll last more than the 2 years the green piece of junk’s I’ve been using lasted. Best suited for a short person. If you're on the tall side. Plane for a back ache.
