Advantus Oral Flea Treatment Soft Chews for Dogs (Imidacloprid) offers an easy-to-administer, fast-acting solution for your dog's flea problems. Advantus over-the-counter soft chews contain an insect neurotoxin called Imidacloprid, which is effective in paralyzing and killing fleas within one hour of administration. It can be used daily, as needed.

Sold in packs of 30 chews for large dogs (23 - 110 lb.)

Do not use this product if you are pregnant or nursing. There is no information about how safe this product is for use in pregnant or nursing dogs.

Overdose Information

Potential side effects include vomiting, decrease in appetite, decrease in energy, soft stools, and trouble walking. If these reactions are persistent, withdraw use and consult your veterinarian.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate putting chemicals on my dogs so this is definitely something that makes me feel more comfortable. The dogs see it as a treat and are more than happy to take it. What I don’t like is that it is a daily dose and the cost will add up really fast. No issues with my dogs taking it or any side effects.

They seem to work well and gives me the peace of mind that my dog will be protected from fleas. My dog was a little hesitant to eat it at first and had to sniff it a couples times before eating, but she ate it anyways.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy one chew daily. Says starts to kill fleas in 60 minutes. Love given him these as he loves them and eats them like a treat. Easy to give them one daily and when I travel this is easy to either bring along or for the dog sitter to administer. It’s a small chewable tablet that the dogs love. It’s digestible so I don’t worry about the others having medicine on the skin.
