My 7 year old lab has been on this brand since he was a puppy. We’ve recently been dealing with some GI issues. I would love to know if Acana has changed a formula recently because it seems to be this food that has caused his tummy issues. Tried to incorporate after a bland diet and he turns his nose up at it due to nausea! Love the quality and brand but if a lab won’t eat it anymore something has changed.

I have been feeding this to my German Shepherd for the past 4 years. He is now 7 years old and for the first 3 years trying different dog foods for his irritable bowel syndromes was unsuccessful until we found this dog food. The limited ingredients works perfect for him.

Do not feed to large breed dogs. "Grain Free" food with significant concentration of pulses (beans, legumes, lentils, potatoes, peas) lack the precursors (methionine and cysteine) to allow the dog's body to produce taurine, and there is a very strong correlation between large breed dogs eating this kind of grain free diet, taurine deficiencies in the dog, and dilated cardiomyopathy ("DCM").
