Q: I don't see that taurine has been added to the 4health for Sensitive Stomach canned dog food. I believe that the kibble has it, and I know that it's been added to other 4health canned foods. Why doesn't the 4health Sensitive Stomach formula have it?

- A: Taurine is an essential nutrient for cats, as such it is added as a supplement to all cat foods. Taurine is also inherent in fish and meat proteins. As it is not considered essential for dogs, supplementation has not occurred in this specific diet.2 years agoHelpful?

This food is excellent for dogs with sensitive stomachs. I can count on this to help my dog settle his tummy even if he has found something he shouldn't eat outside. Unfortunately now I can't find it and I don't know what I'm going to do for him. Why in the world did you quit making this? My store has a shelf label for something new with pink on the label. I found it here online but it's a totally different formula and the reviews are not good (dogs refusing to eat or it doesn't help them). Please please please TSC, have a heart for our beloved pets and bring this item back. A lot of people were buying it and a lot of dogs were depending on it. Please hear us!

Using a house brand was a mistake for us

While the product was generally decent quality, the subscription has become a problem and availability at stores anywhere near me is very limited. I normally keep a couple of weeks of food on hand because shipping can sometimes be unpredictable, but after not delivering my order 2 weeks ago, they also cancelled the next order without any notice. I have exhausted my backlog and now my elderly, insulin dependent dog is having to suddenly change to another food from another supplier, which is difficult with her sensitive stomach and need for consistent carb content. I think going with the house brand instead of something more widely available like Science Diet is risky. It's more affordable, but if they don't keep sending it, you're at risk of not having what your pet needs.
