The 3M SandBlaster Between Coats Sandpaper Sponge is ideal for sanding between coats of finish on freshly coated surfaces, such as wood and metal. Use this 3M sanding sponge to smooth surface imperfections prior to the first topcoat application. worthless

This sanding sponge is worthless! Bought the roughest grit (36) and it barely removes paint let alone smoothing the surface under the paint (wood filler). Spent 20 mins and now the sponge feels gritless and surface still no where close to smooth!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Defective...cannot use one side.

As you can see in the photo, I will not be able to use one side of this sanding sponge.

Very effective and useful

I use these sanding sponges for the final sanding before I apply a finish. I also use them to gently round over edges. They are very easy and comfortable to hold. They last about as long as regular sandpaper, maybe a bit longer. When they load up I clean them by throwing them on my workbench or vacuuming with a shop vac. Overall I find them very effective and easy to use.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Absolutely fabulous sanding block the grit doesn’t seem to breakdown like with sand paper sands perfectly flat and is great for sanding contours as well two thumbs up.
