These are a lifesaver!

This is a use that was probably never thought of.  I use this sandpaper block to clean my chicken eggs.   I raise chickens for their eggs and want them to be at least somewhat clean when I put them into cartons.  You should NOT use water on the eggs so this is really the only choice I have if I want clean eggs.   It’s getting hard to find these sponges now which is the only con I have on these sponges.

worst sander for Drywall

This is the worst sanding sponge I have ever used for drywall. The dust channeling is just a gimic. The small pads don't stay on the sponge and when they are there, you get a very uneven sanding. Especially on the flats of the mud. Do NOT waste your hard earn money on this piece of ----

Disappointed

I bought the ultra flexible precision 80 grit sanding sponge a couple months ago. I usually am a huge fan of all 3m products that I have used through work and my hobbies. The detailing pads ripped off five mins within use. I wasn't overly aggressive with it just doing some regular sanding on my table that I've been building. Around six of the pads ripped off while a few others are holding on for dear life. Hopefully I just received a bad product and this was out of the ordinary for this sanding sponge. I've never been let down by any 3m product except for this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a little creative and went out of the normal usage box: I have used this as a foot callus scrubber. Also, works pretty well when removing accidental marks on a wall that the kids may have marked with permanent marker.

Yes, I recommend this product.
