Zygolide is for the control of clinical signs associated with Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction (PPID). It is for use in horses only at a dose of 2 mcg/kg once daily.

  • Rx Only
  • PPID is an age-related hormonal disorder, caused by changes in the pituitary gland causing unwanted side effects like coat changes, muscle loss, abnormal sweating and laminitis.
  • Pergolide functions by blocking dompamine receptors located in the hypothalmus to decrease exessive hormone production.
  • Sold in packs of 60 ct. and 160 ct.
