Bell was bent, unusable

Received my bell, it's very heavy and I am happy with the quality. I put it together and it's bent, so it will not sit evenly in the brackets. I am not happy that I cannot adjust it to sit evenly, and it's too heavy to bend it back into the correct position.

RUST AFTER1-2 DAYS AFTER BEING OUTSIDE ON POST!!

An HONEST REVIEW. I do NOT recommend this bell. One-two days after we put it up, the rust appeared everywhere. We assumed it was ready to put up right out of the box but it isn’t. I looked up online what to do about rust on a cast iron bell and it says you MUST SEASON the bell to prevent it from rusting. They suggest an oil rub and baking it in an oven at 350 degrees (windows/doors open because it will smoke) or you can buy a rustproof paint/sealer to season the bell. It suggests you season it several times to prevent it from rusting. This was not what we put money into this bell for was to do the work we figured was already done when we bought it. If we could get our money back, we would. Research your bell before you buy it so you don’t have the disappointment we do. It looks HORRIBLE! So disappointed.
