Q&As

1 - 10 of 17 Questions

Q: Can this rake be used with a zero turn mower?

1 Answer
  • A: Hi, the Yard Tuff 48 in. Landscape Rake is primarily designed for lawn tractors and ATVs with pin-style hitches rather than the drive systems found on zero-turn mowers. Using this ground-engaging tool with a zero-turn can place excessive stress on the mower's hydraulic transmissions and make operating the rake's lift lever difficult during transit.

Q: Do the tines lift like a "dump rake"?

1 Answer
  • A: No, the tines on the Yard Tuff Landscape Rake do not lift automatically like a traditional "dump rake" to drop collected material in a pile or windrow. Instead, the landscape rake is raised and lowered manually using an included pull rope. You collect material as you tow it along, and when you reach the desired dumping spot, you pull the rope to lift the entire rake head, depositing the collected debris.
