Q: Since top diameter is the same as bottom, would it be possible to drill additional holes and stack one on top of another?

- A: Since the top and bottom diameters of the Yard Tuff 48-inch Fire Ring are identical, you can technically drill holes and bolt two units together to create a taller 25-inch ring. Just keep in mind that you may need to add extra ventilation holes at the base to keep your fire burning well and apply high-heat paint to any drilled areas to prevent rust. Additionally, something to keep in mind is that by drilling holes or stacking the Yard Tuff Fire Ring will void the manufacturer's warranty because it involves a structural modification that the unit was not designed for. Since the warranty typically covers defects in materials and workmanship for one year, any damage caused by rust at the drill sites or structural failure from stacking would not be covered.2 months agoHelpful?
