Makes an excellent raised bed for vegetable garden

I bought several to add to my raised bed vegetable garden-(I already have used these Tarter rings and troughs for several years) They are very sturdy and attractive (after you peel off the label). Are high enough to plant root vegetables like large carrots, and just wide enough so can reach across entire bed. I much prefer these to my wooden raised, the metal rings help warm the soil up in the spring and also retain more heat for my fall garden. Are easy to move- (am an older woman so if I need to move the bed, I lift them up and just roll them to the location I want without difficulty. Makes an excellent affordable, durable and convenient raised bed. Love the big rolled edge at the top, no one can get cut if bump into them!

Not 3 ft in diameter

I bought this Tarter fire ring to replace the 3ft Tarter fire ring that I’ve had for almost 10 years. I was very happy with the last one I purchased from Tractor Supply and wanted the same thing. I was disappointed to find that the new one was significantly smaller that the previous 3ft one that I purchased. I have concrete blocks surrounding the 3ft ring, so this smaller one will not work for me and I will be returning it. I hope the people at Tarter look into quality control.
