Good idea, poorly executed

I bought this boot thinking that the wide calf would work for us stocky folks. The wide calf is nice, but if you're just a big boned person, these boots fit horribly. The wide calf works well for the bigger calf, but the boot shaft reduces in diameter far too much and results in an extremely tight fit around the ankle. For the most part you can't even pull the boot on all the way because the shaft reduces too much in this area.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Not Wide Enough

If these are supposed to fit over big calves they most certainly do not. Hardly fit over calves - definitely not when wearing pants. Very disappointed with the fit.

Xtra Tuff boots are great

The Xtra Tuff boots are superior to any I have ever had for fishing in Alaska. They have great tread that doesn’t slip on the wet docks and ramps.
However, I’d never recommend Fed Ex Smart Post for shipping your boots. The worst customer service I’ve ever had.
