Sized incorrectly

My husband and sons have been wearing Wranglers for decades, to include this style 937STR (meaning "stretch."). Unfortunately, Wrangler has moved their manufacturing, at least of this item, from Nicaragua to Mexico, and altered the fabric content, now using "elastane" for the 'give.' The jeans no longer fit the way they should, are larger than advertised, size-wise, and 'bag' where they should not bag. All of the details just mentioned are BEFORE they are ever washed. SO DISAPPOINTING. Wrangler used to have a benchmark of standards, and were prized by the working cowboy and casual cowboy alike. Now, if you want a true Wrangler product, you must find a vintage item, if one still exists. I purchased this pair from TSC on line, thinking that maybe the "Lycra Stretch" was truly the old stretch material. But no, This pair even STATES on the tag that it is "elastane." Not as advertised. Shabby product; even the entire jean material is flimsy. If I could have given it ZERO stars I would have. WARNING.

I have been daily wearing Wranglers sense 1962.. I have been wearing the 937STR for around 15 years. The fit and finish used to be a perfect fit to my shape and lifestyle. I am not hard on my clothing so the last time I bought the 937 STR's, before this last purchase, was about 4 years ago. Those 937's are 98% cotton and 2% spandex. The fit and finish on the pants I received was horrible. They are not as advertised above, instead they are 99% cotton and 1% elastane, what ever that is!! As they warm up from your body heat the pants start loosing up and get baggy. Bottom line, these are not the same jeans that I bought 4 years ago and that is a sad state of affairs. You had a great formula and you just had to screw it up in the name of making them cheeper..

Men don't need stretch jeans, why Wrangler would make one for guys is beyond me
