- A: Scott, a manifold will allow you to have a connection to the boom, spray gun and a bypass. This allows you to shut off the boom when wishing to spray with only the spray gun, as well as the bypass is used to regulate your pressure to spray. With out one, you would only be able to connect to a boom or spray gun and you wouldn't be able to regulate the pressure to achieve the necessary pressure to spray according to the chemical labels.a year agoHelpful?

- A: Not sure which 40-gallon sprayer you have, but this boom kit can work with it, if you have a manifold system coming off the pump. If not, you'll just need to install one. This boom kit is designed to connect into your receiver and then connect to a sprayer sitting in the bed of a UTV or even the back of a pickup bed.a year agoHelpful?
Q: Is there a way to shut some of the sprayers off if you do not need to use all five?

- A: Terry, you can either install two-way ball valves inline to shut off outer nozzles or one side or you can use shut off caps. Not sure which nozzles you're looking to shut off, but I would recommend the ball valves. Using shut off caps, you take a chance on losing or misplacing the tips, screens and gaskets that are already there, as you would need to remove those each time and replace with a shut off cap.a year agoHelpful?

Missing parts

I bought the 5 nozzle boom to spray my yard for ticks. The package was missing a bolt and the nozzle clips that secure the nozzles to the boom. In addition, the pressure gauge was stuck at16 psi right out of the box.Tractor Supply has been great, they contacted the manufacturer/distributor to have the parts sent to the store. Meanwhile, the ticks flourishing!!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Product seems to work ok. It was missing half the bolts I needed to put it together with. When I went to TSC to get bolts to finish putting it together they charged me for them lol! Also one of the spray nozzles doesn’t work. So as of now I wouldn’t buy it again.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Sorry you were missing some bolts. If you had called our customer service team, they would have been happy to get you those missing parts. As for one of the nozzles, am wondering if it's the check valve strainer that's causing the issue. if you swap that strainer with a strainer from a working nozzle and then that nozzle isn't working, chances are the strainer is defective. If you call our customer service team at 888-433-6631, they'll be happy to assist you and get you what you're needing.

5-Nozzle sprayer for the win

A friend recommended getting the WorkHorse boom sprayer and assembly was fairly straightforward. I did make a mistake when connecting the second swing arm and had to remove it and attach it properly.
When I connected the sprayer to my tank and turned no the pump, only two of the five nozzles were spraying water. I removed all of the nozzles to check them and still the same two were the only ones that worked. I ended up leaving the filter off of the three that would not work and water came out of the nozzle. I may need to call support or get new filters since they may be clogged.
I do like the multiple positions that the sprayer can be adjusted to depending on grass height or surroundings.
