There's a pivot front panel for easy cleaning. Recommended placement is near open woods or edge of wooded lots mounted 8 ft. to 20 ft. above ground. Very large and well made

This is a very large and well made owl house. It is much better quality than I expected. The access for clean out is easy to use and this also came with a bag of shavings for bedding. This is cedar so it does not need to be stained or painted. This is also very heavy so keep that in mind when you decide to mount it.You will need sturdy brackets to mount this, but other than that it is a very nice house!

Bought this bird house for some american kestrels in our backyard. It was easy to install and feels sturdy. The price is very reasonable based on my research. Birds has not made it their home yet but hopefully in the future.

This box is very sturdy and meets all the specifications for a screech owl or kestrel nest box. Better yet, hubby does not have to build it. Quality is great. Already planning to buy another.
