Life Changing for My Dog’s Allergies!

My 8-year-old Chocolate Lab has suffered from severe environmental and skin allergies for years. She’s currently on Apoquel and Cytopoint, and even with both medications, she still struggled with inflamed, itchy skin, constant scratching, greasy fur, yeasty paws, ear irritation, and that unmistakable “allergy dog” smell no matter how often we bathed her. We’ve spent years trying different dog foods hoping to find something that would help. We decided to give Wholesomes a try because it was on sale and happened to be one brand we hadn’t tested yet. WOW!!! 🤯 What a difference! I honestly wish we had found this food years ago. Within a short time, her coat became incredibly soft, shiny, and healthy-looking instead of greasy. She no longer spends the day scratching and crying from the itching. Her paws aren’t red and yeasty anymore, the unpleasant odor is gone, and her ears haven’t been bothering her, no more constant head shaking! She just seems so much more comfortable and happy. This food has honestly been a lifesaver for our girl. I love this brand so much that I buy two bags every time because I’m terrified they’ll run out of stock. If you have a dog struggling with allergies, this food is absolutely worth trying. It has made a bigger difference than we ever expected, even with her allergy medications. We couldn’t be happier! 🐾❤️

Great dog food but I don't advise ordering online

My dog's love this food! But just a heads up, I ordered it online for the first time and found out the hard way that Tractor Supply ships the bagged dog food in a thin shipping bag. The dog food was left on my porch leaking food out of a ripped hole and there were some happy ants eating it. I on the other hand, was not happy and if you aren't aware it is impossible to get someone on the phone from online customer service. After 40 minutes on hold I left my name and number for a call back and let's just say that was 2 weeks ago and I still haven't received a call back. So great dog food but I will be buying it from a company that has better customer service and ships in boxes next time.

Finally Found a Food for My Buddy

After more than three years on a lamb and rice formula, our dog started scratching, chewing his paws, and bothering his ears and hindquarters more frequently. After working with our veterinarian and doing some digging into ingredients, we discovered he has developed a chicken allergy.
Even though his previous food was marketed as lamb and rice, it still contained chicken fat, which turned out to be the likely culprit. We switched to Wholesomes Sensitive Skin & Stomach Salmon Recipe because it avoids chicken ingredients, and the transition has gone smoothly. He enjoys the food, and we're hopeful it will help reduce the allergy-related issues we've been seeing.

Why are they putting canola oil in dog food??
