Q: I know it it rated in mills but to compare to all other tarps of equal quality, I need a approximate mills Lol

  • A: I can't tell you the mills but it has been a great tarp for us over our hay to keep rain and snow off it. I have the it off in a lot if places and even had extra that we folded and left on the ground. So far- so good!

    A: We do not list our tarps by Mil thickness as poly tarps are a woven material and some strands are twisted and some strands are flat. We list our tarps by the weave. The greater the weave, the heavier duty the tarp. Example would be a blue tarp is an 8 X 8 weave and the black and silver is 14 X 14. This means that in a square inch, there are 14 strands of material woven with another 14 strands of material.

After three months covering my boat, it began to show signs of deterioration on the sunny side. After 4-5 months it had several large holes. After 6 months it was in shreds. Not what I expect from a fairly expensive tarp.

No, I do not recommend this product.

It works great for keeping my load of shavings dry! I have a equine operation in which the stalls are bedded with pine shavings and I get a 100 yard load. This tarp covers the entire load and keeps it dry.
