Coconut coir bricks are composed of three different types of compressed coconut coir. This 1.4lb (650g), high quality, low sodium, sterile growing medium is an alternative to sphagnum peat Moss & absorbs great amounts of water, lowering watering frequency. When hydrated with water, bricks & blocks rapidly expand which saves you time & effort. They can be exclusively used by themselves, blended together or mixed with expanded clay pellets, perlite or topsoil. Better still, you can run it through a chipper & amend your soil with It. Incredibly strong, it makes a better candidate for use with enzyme products that convert roots to biomass. Each brick makes 2 Gallons/8 Quarts/7.5 Liters

  • Increased Nutrient Retention: Viagrow Coir retains valuable and necessary nutrients for your plants growth better than many other grow medias.
  • NEUTRAL pH: Viagrow Coconut Coir is pH neutral and a low E.C, making it ideal for most plants and growers.
  • STERILE: Viagrow Coco Coir is triple washed and steamed to assure low PPM, sodium value and sterilized to produce a perfect growing media that can be mixed with other growing mediums such as: perlite, vermiculite, soil, expanded clay pebbles and so much more!

Product was fine, but when it arrived at rhe store the clerk gave us the wrong package with a sheet of paper with my name on it but not the package. Nothing like making 2 trips to the store to make 1 Good times Do better

Coco Coir is good stuff

Many plants do not want the acid that peat moss contributes to the soil. Where soil conditions need an ammendment without acid, this is the proper choice. Also, as a growing medium it is excellent. It has been washed and desalinated. I know stuff.
