Item not as pictured, it is more white, like the ones you find at other places for 30% more or so AND in 6 piece bundles rather than sold individually. Great Deal, good quality, and the fact that you can purchase just one is great, as if you are into making projects like me, having to buy six when you need 8 is a pain. These are great for making kilns, out door pizza ovens, or rocket stoves. :)

Advertisement says maximum of 2000 degrees but the actual item only says 900 degrees which is a HUGE difference when looking for fire brick for my forge.

Damaged-Broken Fire Bricks

The two cartons of bricks were shipped to the store. We immediately observed they were crushed and the cardboard was ripped open in various spots. Upon opening the boxes, almost every brick was either broken or cracked. Luckily the manager at the Jamison store had fire bricks in stock. We were able to replace every broken brick.
One Star to the TSC shipping department.
Five Stars to the staff at the store.

Webmaster - Online Inventory needs to be FIXED!

The bricks are great! The online purchase was a mess though! I had to ORDER from the Benton Harbor, Michigan store because the website said the Mishawaka, Indiana store didn't have any. SO, I waited for a few days, went to Mishawaka store and picked up my bricks to find out THEY had a pallet load of them sitting at the store?
