    poor substitute

    i believe this is a cheap substitute for the original equipment item. it would not hold its set position and the thermostat spring is lighter material than the original. i had to add a washer to the shaft to keep the spring from binding on the backing cup, and drilled for a pin to hold the setting.

    No, I do not recommend this product.
