The Gripple Large Wire Fence Joiners are designed for 10-7.5 gauge smooth wire, trellis wire, field fence, or electric fence. This wire joiner eliminates tying and knotting wires, reducing installation time, and is designed for high loads and corrosion resistance. Wire fence joiners are adjustable and can be re-tensioned year-after-year. 10 fence joiners included.

- A: Hi, Thank you for reaching out. Without knowing the exact gauge of your "regular cow wire" I would not be able to tell you the correct size gripple you would need. However these gripples fit the following gauge wires: Maximum Compatible Fencing Gauge 10 gauge Minimum Compatible Fencing Gauge 7.5 gauge3 years agoHelpful?

Q: Are there different tensioning supply tools? I read where they recommended buying g the "commercial" duty one because thd cheaper one wasn't during enough.

- A: Two tensioning tools are offered. The Gripple Torque Tool and the Contractor Tool. Both tools are of good quality and will fit all sizes of Gripple joiners. The Gripple Contractor Tools has longer handles for more leverage when tensioning. The extra leverage is not necessarily needed when working with steel wire.3 years agoHelpful?

Easy fast repairs

We used these to repair some woven wire the cows stretched and broke. Pulled the fence together with a stretcher/splicer and the Gripple went right on and held great. I will keep these on the farm instead of trying to tie fences back together.
