TuffRider Ladies Perfect Laced Paddock Boots

Pros: Classic paddock boot with leather uppers (which last MUCH longer than the pleather boot material that starts to crack after a year or so) and tread on the sole for traction in muddy, icy areas. Also has some cushion padding under the ball of the foot and arch I think that's meant for stirrup pressure relief. Good quality for the price. Cons: I read reviews else where that these run small. Normally, I take a size 8.5-9 in my ariat terrains. I bought a size 10 in these. There is a size chart for this boot that's accurate. Be sure measure the length of your foot. My foot was 10 inches long (heel to toe) and the chart suggested the 9.5. I went with the size 10 because it fit a foot a 1/4 inch longer than mine, and I like to double sock in the winter. Turned out to be a good call. They fit with the right amount of roominess without feeling like clown shoes. Also, compared to my terrains, these are a bit boxy and don't provide good arch support, but they are made for riding and not hiking like the hybrid terrains are.

I wear either 8 or 8 1/2. These boots looked nice but were only available in an 8, so I took a chance. Oops, no, they were way to small. I had to return them. Love the SmartPak return policy on sized items!!

I needed back up boots. These are soft and perfect. I think they run a bit large and are wide.
