You could do MUCH worse

Live/hunt in Michigan for almost 50 years, including many seasons in the UP. I bought this last year down in Florida for close out price of $99. For that price, this blind is a STEAL. I’ve used several Ameristep blinds over the years, mostly their Doghouse blinds. Talk about leaky…Ii wii say, thought, that their CS is second to none. They ARE a good company and their products aren’t terrible. This blind is roomy, and the fabric is substantial. Setup was quick and easy. Take your time setting up and taking down and you’ll be fine with this. I bought this style mainly for the silent window slides and horizontal configuration that is compatible with an older Excalibur recurve crossbow, making bow hunting from this blind a joy. Not a fan of the triangle entry door, but I can deal with that all else considered. Yes, the carry backpack straps could be a bit heavier duty, but if you’re hauling this some distance, fixing it to a sturdy backpack frame would be the way to go. I’m literally hunting in a 17 mph wind as I type this, and this blind isn’t moving. I don’t see many light pinholes in the roof, so not overly concerned with leakage. If you think you’ll get a 100% waterproof blind for $99……think again. Get this for $99 and you’re in fine shape. Better yet….get two. Find the close out price. That said, I STILL feel this blind is worth the $199 price.

Tree line insulated Blind

I haven’t used yet, but it appears to be very well built and has the best type of window configuration for a hunting blind. Material seems plenty thick so hopefully this lasts for a few seasons. Camo pattern is good as well.

The blind was great. The carrying bag worthless.

The blind set up easily and with a little heater kept me from getting cold. I did have a problem with the backpack style carrying case. The first time I used it in the woods the stitches on the seams broke apart. The backpack straps also began to come apart. This caused me a lot of trouble getting it back to my truck. Customer service wasn’t much help because they don’t have any replacements parts. I was told to bring it back to the store I got it from.

Yes, I recommend this product.
