The TruxMate 1,500 lb. Power Drill-Driven Aluminum Marine Trailer Jack is designed to help raise and lower compatible boat trailers and utility trailers with less manual effort. The drill-driven design works with a compatible power drill for faster operation compared with hand-cranking. Built with lightweight aluminum, this marine trailer jack offers corrosion-resistant performance for outdoor and marine environments. A wide footplate helps provide support on firm, level surfaces during trailer setup, hitching and loading.

Great jack and little force to turn it. Happy

As far as a jack goes this thing is very impressive. It takes much less force to crank it than other jacks and is much smoother. I'm excited to try it and test it's longevity. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I think the mounting plate could be a little stronger and have more options for different size tubing or I-beam. After a full test of about a year I'll come back and see if there's something to change. Overall, for the price, which is about 28% the cost of other aluminum jacks on the market, it's great on first look and unboxing. The cost savings alone will help me solve the sizing issue. Also I believe the bolts should be in hollow Aluminum tubes so the backing plate and the mounting bracket can force against a properly sized tube instead of relying on the shear strength of the mounting plate.

Lubricate before attaching to trailer

It’s a great product ! Except the wheel needs to b lubricated before assembly onto the trailer. The instructions with the jack should specify that lubrication is necessary for smooth and proper operation. Especially the shaft that allows the wheel to turn. If u forget to lubricate before assembly onto the trailer, simply spin the jack so that the wheel faces upward. Then lubricate fully and allow the lube to soak everywhere on the wheel and shaft. I After lubrication, simply spin the wheel downward to its normal position. Wipe away any excess lubrication.
