It's made of stainless steel with a sweet iron twisted wire mouth piece. The short shanks and slight gag action of this bit provide mild leverage to help collect the horse. The addition of a curb chain to this bit can help increase speed, rating, and stop. 5 in. mouth.Please note: sweet iron is designed to rust
