Well made but nylon used to tighten to stay in place is hard to tighten my mare got out of them, but I still feel they’re worth the money. I only use them once I think if I would’ve used them again, I would’ve figured out what I had done wrong.

This breeding hobble has a few design flaws. Even though it has poor reviews in other websites I purchased it only because there was nothing else available. When i used it with one half hearted kick the it failed.. there is a strap that goes around the neck and from that strap there is another that goes between the front legs which the rope is attached. There is a pully where the rope is attached.. The pully is attached to that strap with two small bolts.. this pully pulled through the strap .. This is my recommendation. If you purchase this.. un screw the bolts and put large washers on the underside of the strap to provide more surface area so the bolts wont pull through the strap.. Other issues that are cited in other reviews are the snaps that connect the rope to the leg straps.. I had no problems with these snaps.. also the leg straps are too long .. I would suggest that more holes be made in the straps so they will fit more snugly.. good luck!
