The Tough1 Double Edge Equine Shedding Blade. This shedding tool is made with flexible stainless steel twin blades, providing double results with less effort. This also features fine teeth on one side for heavy cleaning and smooth on the other side for sweat scraping. It comes complete with a comfortable non-slip rubber handle.
- Horse brush is a 12 in." metal curry when opened with a 4-3/4 in." non-slip rubber handle

- A: Hi Neighbor! Technically, yes, an equine shedding blade can remove loose fur from a cat. However, professional groomers generally do not recommend using them on cats. Feline skin is extremely thin and fragile compared to a horse, making it very easy to accidentally scratch, tear, or cut them with a sharp metal blade.3 months agoHelpful?

Removes excess coat

This is a durable double shedding blade that we are using on our pony that has Cushing's Syndrome and doesn't shed normally. It is easy to hold, easily pulls out the excessive unshed coat and offers some relief from the oppressive heat we have been having. We definitely recommend this blade.

Even though this is specified for "equine" I have always used these on my bloodhounds. They LOVE being brushed and it picks up so much hair from them. I will always have one!
