The Tough1 Double Edge Equine Shedding Blade. This shedding tool is made with flexible stainless steel twin blades, providing double results with less effort. This also features fine teeth on one side for heavy cleaning and smooth on the other side for sweat scraping. It comes complete with a comfortable non-slip rubber handle.

- A: Hi Neighbor! Technically, yes, an equine shedding blade can remove loose fur from a cat. However, professional groomers generally do not recommend using them on cats. Feline skin is extremely thin and fragile compared to a horse, making it very easy to accidentally scratch, tear, or cut them with a sharp metal blade.19 days agoHelpful?

Great pet (dog) shedding tool

Wonderful tool to help with the de-shedding of for doodles and corgi. The dogs love it. It gives him a good scratch and it helps with keeping the pet for under control. An idea I found on a Corgi instagram that I follow.

Not super happy with this. If your horse doesn’t have a heavy coat I wouldn’t recommend it. But my mini has a heavier coat and it works wonders on him.
