Q: The two studs on the back are for mounting and wiring the gauge. It looks like that would be grounding out the gauge cause the bracket tightens against the tractor frame.

- A: It is an illuminated gauge, the small wires provide power to the included light bulb. They do not need to be wired unless they want the light on the gauge to function with the tractor lights.2 years agoHelpful?

Better than an Ammeter
