Wow. Just wow. Immediate comfort. They are getting even more comfortable by the day. Probably the last pair of boots you would ever need. Style 10/10 value 10/10 comfort 10/10. You can't go wrong with a tried and true design that the greatest generation loved. After the second world wide conflict, the guys returning home traded their service boots in for something better. This design was the answer. I switched jobs and my old pair of thorogood unlined ankle boots for my work in the hot and humid south were giving up the ghost, not worth resoling after burning multiple welding burn holes through the stitching (which never failed). My feet kept getting wet and cold in the Wyoming winter slush. I needed something taller and waterproof. I have only worn these boots every day now since I got them, shine them up for date night and Church. My wife loves them too. My feet have had a little sweat, as to be expected with goretex, but with wool socks I have not had a single foot issue. My feet have stayed warm and dry all day long and my feet have dried out as well when they do get wet. It's really helped my performance at work, my feet are happy and don't get tired like they used to, knees don't hurt at the end of the day working on concrete. I don't need to sit down as much. It's wonderful. Lots of cush in the sole. Calves needed some time to adjust because of the weight, but it's worth it. Don't worry about the weight, just get stronger.

Saw these boots on a coworker and they stood out to me . Never thought lace up style boots would be practical in my line of work , but they are the best work boots I’ve ever worn so far

Extremely comfortable the second you put them on. Very well constructed. Worth every penny.
