Q: Will it zap carpenter bees?
a year ago1 Answer
- A: Hi, Yes, a Black Flag Handheld Bug Zapper can kill carpenter bees, but it's not always a guaranteed kill. It may stun them, causing them to fall to the ground, but they may eventually recover and fly away. To effectively eliminate carpenter bees, you may need to follow up with a quick step on them while they're stunned, or consider other methods like using boric acid.a year agoHelpful?

Electric Bug Zapper
Returning 2 that I bought because it does not "ZAP"! I have an olde one that when you swat at a fly or mosquito it pops loudly and you know you got him. These that I bought don't make a sound so you don't know if you got one or not. NO FUN!
I have one just like the picture on line and that is the one II that I was buying but it was not the same.

A household favorite

The only fly swatter we use anymore. You can sneak up on the little rascals and zap them with the rush of air from a rolled up newspaper or traditional fly swatter. Living in a rural/agricultural area means flies are ubiquitous...but I'm not a fan of having them in the house. We bought 2 so we could have them in 2 areas of the house. Kudos to whoever thought up this little gem!
