I spend a lot of time in front of the computer, nothing more annoying than that fly, gnat, moth that just won't stay off the monitor. I'd never seen these before but figured if tractor supply carries it would be worth a go. You don't expect the volume of the zap when you hit your target, don't jump.... Got the dadburned fly and another something same time, I bought two from tractor supply for same price a giant internet retailer is selling a single one for so buy em here! Don't forget a pack of good alkaline batteries. I don't think I'd let a kid use this unsupervised they enjoy stupid too much, even though two AA's probably can't produce enough amperage (even with the undoubted capacitor boost) to really hurt a human or large animal I'd still throttle anyone I saw purposely touching this to an innocent critter.

It works great until it doesn't, which is about a week or two later. I have bought 3 or 4 and they are exactly the same. I just can't find anything comparable.
