Q: Dear Woodstream team, I did it exactly as you said & per instructions on the canister. Still the ants did what they did in my previous question. Plus why is it listed on the site as a granules instead of powder? Respectfully submitted.

    A: We're sorry to hear about this experience! It is important to allow 3 to 4 days for maximum control. If ants are still active after that time frame, we suggest repeating the application. Any fire ant that crawls through the Fire Ant Killer, should be killed on contact. The product is covered under a 30-day return policy and a 1-year replacement policy. Q: Description says granulated, but its a powder. It took 2 applications& the ants just moved.The ants were just taking the powder&dragging it back out of the nest. I finally used Raid to kill what was left! Plz explain descriptor&help me Kill FIRE ants!

    A: This product should be applied directly on mounds to kill fire ants on contact. Sprinkle a tablespoon or so of the granules directly over top of each fire ant mound. For best results, apply the Fire Ant Killer in temperatures between 65 and 80 degrees. Remember, no watering in is necessary! Be sure to not disturb the ant mound in any other way to prevent them from migrating away from their mounds before they make contact with the granules.

Q: Toxicity to humans and pets? Can it be used around vegetables?

Better than big name products

I tried the stuff from big box stores with mixed results. This product seems to work better. Time will tell.
