Best hay ring we have found!

We have Brangus (cows, calves, and a bull), horses (full size and drafts), and goats who all share these rings. They have held up for 3 years now and still look great! We will never buy another metal ring again.

poly feeder flaw

i like the light weight of the feeder, easy for me to move, went together pretty easy..i have two horses we rescued, they go into the field with their halters on..one of the horses was feeding and the bolt that sticks out got caught on her halter, she panicked, flip the feeder on it side and now will not go near the feeder to eat..good thing someone was home or she might have broke her neck..

This feeder is sturdy and stands up to both cows and horses. It is easy to move around and was assembly was not difficult.

JUNK.....Straight up JUNK !

If a negative rating was possible, I would give it one. This is total junk. Not a single predrilled hole was of the right size. I had to re-drill every single hole to accomodate the hardware. Then add trying to get the bolts through the holes in 30 degree weather. Oh, I know. You should have bought it during warm weather.....sometimes that's not possible. This is total junk. Straight up junk. We will return this immediately. Tractor Supply should take this junk off their site as it's totally worthless.

No, I do not recommend this product.

It's meant for cattle. Would be excellent for cattle. It's ok for horses. Had a tough time with the last ring . Fairly easy to put together until that one.

Do not buy if you have draft horses

Do not buy this if you have draft horses. My 4-year-old spotted draft tipped this off of the round bale, got tangled up because this is so lightweight and did something to his spine. I had to put him down at 6 years old. He was such a nice horse. It was heartbreaking. He would stand with his hind feet on top of each other.
